Willy Paul reveals why he left gospel music industry

Willy Paul is one of the musicians that has moved from the gospel industry to secular music. In his Instagram post he shared how it was a tough journey for him while working as a gospel artist.

The secular musician said that he was looked down upon by fellow artists and even Djs. He adds; "I was the top artist but these evil people couldn't see that. Or they just ignored the reality! This people broke my heart. I was depressed for months I kept crying in silence every single day and night. I had no money to pay my bills. "

Willy Paul says he had good music but his songs were not credited. He shares that what he went through no other person should go through the same. He went on and said his love for music motivated him to take that step. He was tired of the hypocrisy in the Gospel industry. It was time for him to be real with himself and God.

He advised; "Ever wondered why people hate for no reason? Well the so called haters are not really haters. They just wish they had what you have. Yaani they wish they were you or even a quarter of what you are. Don't let anybody tell you what is wrong or right for you, kila mtu atazikwa peke yake."
