Reknowed film directors and producers Phil Karanja and Abel Mutua have today Thurday taken ro the streets to request Kenyans to buy their film.
The two along with their crew were spotted while carrying huge placards urging motorists to buy the link to the film which is scheduled to go live today midnight.
“Please Buy our fill Inaongeza nguvu za kiume,” the placard read in part.
Explaining why they had to take to the streets, Abel Mutua said, “Today is the day we’re dropping this film. We need to sell 50,000 links to enable us produce the next one. #PhilmAmbassadors tunaomba mtusaidie. Help us push!”
On his part, Philip Karanja said: “Tupatane kwa Traffic Jam near you; staki serikali inisaidie, wacha nikuwe hawker. Nunua Sinema.”
A Grand Little Lie is the debut film from Phil It TV. Thefilm came after Abel Mutua’s fans popularly known as ‘Wakurugenzi’ challenged him to create a film for one of the stories he shared on his YouTube page.
