After a one-year feud between Comedian David Oyando, aka Mulamwah, and Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO Ezekiel Mutua the two have mended their relationship.

According to Mulamwah, they ironed out their differences with the MCSK boss during a meeting at the Marwa Music Awards at Nairobi Cinema.

“Yesterday we met with Dr @EzekielMutua, we spoke and squared our differences,” Mulamwah said in a post.

He further said that he and Mutua “are now best pals”, adding that he was grateful for his support in the music industry.

“Hatchet buried. Looking forward to working with MCSK in the near future as promised. Asante bro” added Mulamwah.

Ezekiel Mutua also confirmed he reconciled with Mulamwah after having a “handshake” at the event.

In mid-2021, Mulamwah called out Mutua on Twitter for withdrawing from a prior promise to appoint him as one of the Kenya Film and Classification Board's (KFCB) clean content ambassadors while he was CEO.

"Hello sir, @EzekielMutua, it's almost a year since your promise, did you mean it or you were just tweeting for the moment, or am I 'inaccessible?' If the GVT cannot help us as a youth, then please don't instill false hope in us, it's better you leave us to suffer in peace," tweeted Mulamwah.

Responding to the tweet Ezekiel Mutua, expressed that after an investigation, Mulamwah didn’t fit for clean content ambassador.
